Rules and Guidelines

CWFS Art and Poetry is happening on Thursday, December 19th, from 5:00 – 7:00pm. If you'd like to perform, please sign up!

We're accepting submissions to perform through Sunday, December 8.

Each student or group should plan to perform for up to 5 minutes. Yes, we're afraid that means no Stairway. No performance is too short, though!
Reading poetry or a short story instead of performing music is welcome too!
A piano and amplification for singing (one microphone) will be provided. If you want to use a phone or tablet to play a track or use an app, we will have cables to plug that in. Any tracks must be downloaded before you come to perform, and usable offline. Please take care of this at home. The MPR is apparently a Faraday Cage, so streaming will not work!
If you have multiple singers, plan to sing around the one microphone together, bluegrass-style.
If you're playing an electric instrument, bring your own amp.
All participants are required to have a ton of fun.

If there are a lot of submissions, it's possible not everyone will be able to perform, but we will try to accommodate everyone.
After all submissions are received, we'll go through them and make a rough schedule.
The schedule will be available on either Monday the 16th or Tuesday the 17th, the week of Art and Poetry.
